Preamble:
Summer vacations and work trips continue to take their toll on the numbers at The Norseman but that never stopped a great beatdown from happening!
Since I just returned from a trip to North Carolina we would be doing some travel related work!
Warm-O-Rama:
Mosey down to the speed hump by the covert entrance to St. Francis for:
- SSH
- Imperial Walkers
- Windmill
Then we moseied over to the cinder dispensary for 2 cinders each.
The Thang:
I explained that the Ha-ha family never goes on a car trip with vacant space. We take it all!
11’s on the Track
- Start with 10 reps of putting your luggage in the overhead (sometimes known as squat press or Thrusters) with a single cinder.
- Carry both cinders in a Farmer’s Carry 100 yards.
- 1 curl with 1 cinder.
- Carry both cinders back 100 yards for 9 Thrusters.
- continue on until 1 Thruster and 10 Curls.
Ooof. Carrying those cinders hurt after a while.
After everone completed we ran a lap of the track stopping every 100 yards for 10 merkins with 10 at the start and stop for a total of 50.
Carried the cinders back to the coupon pile and ran back to the flag and that was time.
COT:
- Safe travels for those out on the road
- Healing for those battling the virus
- Praise for those that have recovered
Naked-Man Moleskin:
It is good to be back at The Norseman after a week of vacation!
