PAX (9): Devito, FannyPack, IKEA, lumbergh, Schnitzel, Special K, Sweep3r, Tank, Trebek

Preamble:

The heat wave is over- back to sub-freezing windchills.  YHC read the 5 core principles & gave a passable disclaimer.

Warm-O-Rama:

Moseyed one lap in the parking lot in case of stragglers & picked up one or two as a result.  Then mosey'd over to the coupon pile near the pool & circled up for several standard warm up exercises- arms, hamstrings, hips, etc.

The Thang:

I made up a game for today, but I did not explain it well.  In fairness to me, I'm doing well to form any complete sentences at 5:30.  We made two teams, and the goal of the game was to steal all of the other team's coupons.
  1. Split into teams & go to your side of the parking lot.
  2. Everyone get a coupon.
  3. Each team gets half of the workout deck.  I had divided the decks into halves before the workout, spreading the suits evenly between the halves.
  4. Each team deals 16 cards in 4x4 grid, face down.  The rest form a draw pile for later.
  5. The game is played in rounds of 5 minutes.  To start, everyone carries their coupon around the lot & when your whole team is back, turn 4 cards & do those exercises together.  Then do another lap & turn 4 more.  Continue until the end of the round.
  6. At the end of the round, the team with more completed exercises (cards showing) wins, and they steal 1 coupon from the other team, which will now travel with them around the lot.
  7. Before starting the next round, each team goes to the opponent's grid.  For each coupon your team has, you can 'reset' a showing card by either 1) flipping it face down, or 2) replacing it, face down, with a card from your draw pile.
  8. Start the next round, traveling around with all your coupons on each lap.

COT:

Prayers for Schnitzel's son struggling with addiction.  Reminder to make a plan to lead at F3 in 2025- Q sheets are up, grab some dates.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Everyone's got a plan until you get punched in the coupon.  Thanks for playing along.  I'll make some tweaks & try, try again.  It was fun, always a pleasure to lead.
