Preamble:
Working his way back into the Rubicon fold, (3 times in the last month after a 2 year hiatus), YHC stepped up to take the Q and give the PAX a great BD. While in the midst of planning, it was to be a tour of the AO but when that occurred earlier in the week, YHC changed the course and decided to pay honor to a fallen F3 brother, Falcon, who the BD is now named after. The PAX were to bring a coupon and the customary chatter on the channel began. The playlist was constructed a bit differently than the traditional Alt or Classic Rock ones that most Q's deliver. Or in @Goat fashion...show tunes. It was 90s/2000s R&B and seemed to be well received. Weather was amazing and the energy was pretty decent...until the whiteboard came out. Disclaimer given. 4 rounds...we only got through 3, although Tank (like always) could've done 4 if permitted to go at his pace the entire BD. It was unfortunate that some of the PAX had to endure the same BD a day earlier at the The Bound AO...or maybe it wasn't??? There was definitely a lot of frustration and chatter at the start when 26 flying squirrels kicked it off, but that soon turned into a lot of strong men, working hard to honor Falcon and to support each other.
