Preamble:

After much delay and rescheduling, time for Ollie's adventure race beat down.  The map was provided on Wednesday along with a brief list of rules.

Warm-O-Rama:

5:30 - PAX completed their own warmup and stretching as YHC went over the rules again and clarified any questions that the PAX had.

The Thang:

Basic rules for the beatdown:
  • Everything is on your honor.
  • Start and end point is the flag.
  • Event starts promptly at 5:35.  We will briefly warmup at 5:30.
  • You must return by 6:15.  There is a one point deduction for each minute late you arrive to the end point.
  • You can only perform each task once.
  • You may perform the tasks in any order.
  • You may complete or not complete any tasks you want, but in order to get points for the task you must complete them as prescribed - no modifying if you want points.
  • Tasks 27 and 28 require partners.
  • Tie breaker is order of finish.
5:35 - PAX ran in various directions into the dark in search of points.  Various strategies used, but everyone returned on time at 6:15 for count off and the announcement of winners:
  • 1st place - Turbine
  • 2nd place - Avis
  • 3rd place - Sprocket
