The Thang:

Summary: a group of 10 Pax gathered for a challenging workout centered around the use of 14 brand new cinder blocks. The mission was to keep the cinder blocks off the ground until 6:10 AM. The workout involved a variety of exercises and cinder block lifts, incorporating both teamwork and cardio elements. Details:
  1. Warm-Up: The session commenced with a mosey and standard warm-up exercises to prepare our bodies for the challenging task ahead.
  2. Cinder Block Challenge: With 14 cinder blocks in tow, participants were divided into pairs. The primary objective was to ensure that the cinder blocks never touched the ground until 6:10 AM. This task required continuous teamwork and coordination.
  3. Circuit: We maintained constant movement, covering distances ranging from 1/3 to 1/4 mile with the cinder blocks. The activities included:
    • Running while holding both cinder blocks, alternating between partners A and B.
    • Various cinder block lifts, including curls, overhead presses, squats, lunges, and farmer's carries.
    • Partner-based exercises that incorporated the cinder blocks for resistance.
  4. Conclusion: The workout was physically demanding, pushing participants to their limits. It required effective communication and cooperation to ensure the cinder blocks remained off the ground throughout the session.
  5. Prayers: We concluded the session with prayers for Training Wheels, offering our support and best wishes for their upcoming hearings.
