Preamble:

It was a clear warm morning, a clear white moon…some came for karaoke, some came to sweat. Let’s roll and accomplish both. Fresh off the Super Bowl Halftime Show, let’s keep the party going with a 90’s music themed beatdown baby

Warm-O-Rama:

Grab a coupon and mosey to the upper lot for some SSH, Weedpickers, Imperial Walkers, Windmills, & Arm Circles. Well looky there, it’s a Jeep with a playlist “Q”ueued up…

The Thang:

DJ Walkie Talkie had prepared a 9-song 90s Beatdown for such an occasion. Let’s do this…

California Love – Group Squats with a Burpee on “California” and a high jump on “city”

You Can’t Touch This – Group Shoulder-Tap Plank with a Merkin on “you can’t touch this!” & “Break it down” with Mountain Climbers

Jump Around – Jump Rope (of course) and Run in 2 teams

Come As You Are – Freddie Mercuries & Run in 2 teams

Mr Jones – Group Lunges & Burpee on “Mr. Jones” (there was some karaoke in this one, we all wanna be big stars)

Otherside – Group Curls & Inch Worm Merkin on “side” & “slide”

Nuthin’ But a G-Thang – LBCs & Run in 2 teams

1979 – Skull Crushers & Run in 2 teams

O.P.P – Group SSH & Burpee on “O.P.P.” (ouch)

Great decade, great tunes, and great work, Gents! Until next time…

COT:

So awesome to see a clown car visit from Windjammer (Townie, False Start & MilliVanilli) & two studs from Cherokee/Witch/Birmingham Park (Tycoon & Bronco). This is a good reminder to get out and visit and invite FNGs to other AOs. It’s good to see some other AOs in action and meet some new brothers in the gloom.

It’s always a pleasure to lead. What a great way to start the day.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Come as you are, as you were. As I want you to be
As a friend, as a friend. As an old enemy
Take your time, hurry up. Choice is yours, don’t be late
Take a rest as a friend. As an old memory.
