Moonjammer

Preamble:

Windjammers enjoyed a crescent moon today as a 5PAX of @Townie @Stu @Brutus @DrRico & @WalkieTalkie headed out into the gloom for a 4-7-2021 Beatdown.

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to the lake for some Side Straddle Hops, Weed Pickers, Hillbillies & COVIDs while enjoying the moon view. Continue the mosey to the boat launch for some lunges, LBCs, Box Cutters, & Flutters

The Thang:

Merkin Mile with 10 Merkins at every cross street on the way up. Yes, a few of us cursed “The Hill”. And 10 squats at every cross street on the way back. Dr Long Legs led the way.

We continued the pain in the Sports Park with some 11s…made up of Bonnie Blairs & Jumps Squats with hill runs in between…1/10, 2/9, 3/8, 4/7, 5/6 etc.

Mosey back to the flag where DJ Jazzy Walkie Talkie always likes to end with a song. One Pax said “what about Burpees?” Like I forgot. J

Today’s jam was Safe & Sound by Capital Cities. Oh yes, we melodied to the horns with some SSHs and did a Burpee every single time we heard “Safe and Sound”. It was a lot but not as bad as Roxanne, right Brutus? Had 2 more minutes to do some @Townie-led American Hammers before @Stu introduced us to the Fire Hydrants…that’s fun to say. Great work, Gents.
