Cartwheels and somersault

Preamble:

27 degrees ment no wrestling singlet today, but the yellow sweatpants were in full force.  Push yourself and push the men next to you…let’s go!

Warm-O-Rama:

Picked up some cinders and headed to the field (a treat for later).  Slow and steady mosey around the 18 box with some inside/outside wrestling stances, cartwheels and somersaults…the frozen tundra made for an interesting feel.

Jumped right into a “Chumbaburpee” – Tubthumper by Chumbawumba, start with SSH at beginning of song, then every time they say, “I get knocked down, but I get up again” we did a burpee…good a warm now!

The Thang:

“The Cooper”

10 blockees, 10 squats, 10 merkins, 10 big boys, run a lap around the soccer field, followed by 9 of each, then a lap…8, then a lap…7…6…5…4…3…2…1

a few PAX were able to finish and get in some killer B’s and Merkin Bear Crawl before heading for a quick ring of fire near the cinder stash.

COT:

Praises for F3 and the group of men that push each other to get better.  Prayers for speedo and his wife as she helps to lead families and individuals through the challenges of navigating the ever present waters of mental health.  Zohan plugs the 2021 Barkley 5K at the Widowmaker.

It’s been over three months since my dad died and although it hasn’t been easy, F3 has been a source of comfort and encouragement and it helps me 100% get through these days.
