Firehouse Takeover by Big Creek

Preamble:

On this sub-freezing morning the PAX of Big Creek decided to warm things up a bit by taking over the Firehouse AO.

Warm-O-Rama:

We began with a mosey to the circular grassy area in the middle of a roundabout that seemed made for warming up.

Warmup consisted of SSH, Good Morning, Copperhead squats, and Imperial Walkers

Just to make sure we were completely warmed up, we did a Merkin Mile moseying back the way we came and stopping at each “No Parking” sign for 5 merkins.

The Thang:

After warmups we moseyed to one of several great fields that the Firehouse offers for a Death Star consisting of 25 – Makhtar Ndiayes, 50 – plank jacks, 75 – Lbc’s and 100 – oh claps. The PAX started with 5 burpees in the middle and headed to a corner for each set of exercises, returning to the middle between each set to pay a toll of 5 burpees and finishing with one last set of 5 burpees.

From the field, we moseyed down to an oval shaped parking lot to partner up for a little Catch Me If You Can. Partner 1 began running backwards while Partner 2 completed 20 Mountain Climbers (Alpha Count). Partner 2 then ran to catch Partner 1 and they switched. This continued for 1 lap around the oval.

After a quick 10 count, we completed a round of Bat Wings. 20 reps in cadence for each exercise without letting your arms down: Forward Arm Circles, Reverse Arm Circles, Seal Claps, and Overhead Claps

From here we did an Indian Run back to the flag and began a little Mary called by PAX around the circle.

Finally, we completed 25 Seal Situps bringing this epic beatdown to a close.

COT:

Prayer requests for Scully while on the F3 Mission to Chimbote, Dumpter’s daughter as she prepares for medical tests and Swiper’s family as his wife’s uncle recently passed away suddenly.

Body reminded everyone about the Bible study that meets at his house each Friday – all are welcome.
