The Thang
The PAX moseyed across the parking lot to the front side of the school where YHC explained the rules. After the PAX divided into groups of 5, they lined up in front of 1 of the 5 stations. The goal, complete the exercises as quick as they can, run one lap around the parking lot, and then move to the next station.
The twist, the PAX of each team can perform the exercises in ANY order and divide the reps in ANY manner they like. The only requirement was that the teams collectively complete the exercises. The how was up to them. PAX continue to rotate stations until either all 5 stations have been completed or until time runs out.
The exercises for each station were as follows:
Yellow:
- 100 Burpees
- 200 Dips
- 200 Wide Merkins
Orange:
- 200 Monkey Humpers
- 200 Squats
- 75 Partner Rows
Red:
- 100 Merkins
- 100 Carolina Drydocks
- 200 Mountain Climbers (Kodiak Count)
Blue:
- 200 Lunges (Kodiak Count)
- 200 Hand Release Merkins
- 100 Plank Jacks
Green:
- 300 SSH
- 100 Low Country Crabs (Kodiak Count)
- 200 Derkins
COT
With a goal of engaging the PAX all the way up to 6:15am, YHC would say that the mission was accomplished. Honorable mentions go out to the team that completed all 5 stations just as we were called back to the flag. Quite an accomplishment!
With mumble chatter to a minimum and even the mighty Law Dog falling silent after the warm-ups YHC wasn’t sure if it was enjoyment or shear hatred. It was a win-win either way as it was a blast for YHC to host such a great turn out even after we all lost an hour of sleep due to the time change.
The expansion email was mentioned and everyone should give it a read. There are some great things in our future. There will also be F3 representation at the Macedonia Baseball Opening Day Saturday March 17th. If you can attend, let’s EH some Sad Clowns!
In closing, please keep LawDog’s grandmother and Homeboy’s father in your prayers.
