7 pax decided to celebrate Columbus Day by doing a whole bunch of merkins with some running around in between. The weather was perfect, a little chilly at the start but no one complained 10 minutes in. Hopefully the pax aren’t so soft that they move indoors for the “hard” Georgia winters. Our forefathers crossed an unknown ocean, faced disease, starvation, and tomahawks, and started to build this great nation, and some “men” don’t want to work out because it’s too dark. Holy crap. No wonder we are supposed to pick between a sexual predator and sexual predator enabler to be our next president. Anyway, here’s what happened.
Warmup lap followed by SSH, Imperial Walker, and cotton pickers.
Mosey to the church parking lot for 11’s. Run to third island for regular merkins. Run back for diamond merkins. Mosey to Chapel Hill for another round of 11’s. Werkins at the top and hand release merkins at the bottom. Start moseying back and stop for a bear crawl indian run. Keep moseying back to the flag for Mary. YHC can’t remember what we did but ended with ATMs. Solid 1,680 merkins from the group today.
