Happy Paczki Day 2023!

Preamble:

9 PAX joined me today to celebrate Paczki Day (kind of like Polish Fat Tuesday).

Paczki were promised at the end of the beatdown.  To also celebrate Fat Tuesday, I put together a NOLA playlist.

Warm-O-Rama:

Quick mosey with some high knees and butt-kickers to the flag for a warm up.

• SSH
• Imperial Walkers
• Weed Pickers
• Arm Circles

The Thang:

Before a Paczki treat we had a get through a variety of exercises.  First up Ascending Testicles and Aiken Legs

• Start with feet on wall in 15 degree descending Merkin (Derkin) position. Do 10 Derkins then walk feet up wall to 45 degree Derkin position. 10 more Derkins then walk feet up wall to full Balls to the Wall pose. Can add 10 more Derkins here if you’re able. Or hold in BTTW pose.
• After Ascending Testicles, PAX moved to the planters for Aiken Legs: Done in succession with no rest — 20 Squats, 20 Box Jumps, 20 Lunges (10 each leg), 20 Bonnie Blairs
• After one round of Aiken Legs, PAX went back to the wall for a 1 minute Balls To The Wall.
• Then a 2nd round of Aiken Legs

Short Mosey to the Hill of Dreams for a modified version of Burp Back Mountain:

• PAX partnered up.  While one PAX did Burpees while the other went up the hill backward and down frontwards two times before flapjacking. PAX continued until completing a total of 100 Burpees.

Then to the Field of Dreams for two laps of an Indian Run

Next one full round of Bataan Death Crawl:

• The last PAX drops and does 5 Burpees, while the rest of the Pax Bear Crawl in a line. After completing the Burpees, the last guy runs to catch the group, tapping the (new) last Pax on the shoulder, who then stops to begin his 5 Burpees, while the (former) last PAX continues on to the front of the line. Continue until all Pax have performed a set of Burpees.  As time was winding down, we changed from 5 burpees to 3.
• Just as the last PAX finished, it was time to head back to the flag.
