Accuweather shmackuweather – let’do this!

Preamble:

With 2022 on its way out, it was time to get a running start going into the New Year. As YHC stepped out of the truck, AccuWeather said no chance for rain for the next 60+ minutes. GREAT – FULL BEATDOWN, NO BARS! Alas, as soon as disclaimer was given, the heavens opened. No big deal to F3 guys – we simply girded our loins and adapted….and ran for the pavilion.

Warm-O-Rama:

After a hasty mosey to the pavilion, warmup was 12x of each of the following:

Weedpickers

Willie Mays Hays

Moroccan Nightclubs

Hillbillies

SSH’s.

Suddenly, AccuWeather was accurate again, the rain ceased, and we moseyed over to the Widowmaker

The Thang:

1. Starting at the top, going downhill, pax did 1 alpha lunge walk, 1 HR mercan, and 1 Big Boy SU. Increased by 1 rep on each until 10 reps. Run to bottom and hillbilly for the 6.

2. Rolling Jack Webb – At bottom of hill, pax conducted 1 Mercan with 4 air presses, ran to top of guard rail, did 2 Mercans / 8 airpresses, continue back down hill, incrementing up through 10 / 40 mercans/air presses. Pick up the 6

3. Indian Bear Pees – line up single file going up hill. Pax bear crawl uphill single file, last pax burpees and runs to the front. Rotated through all pax, got 80% up then all pax completed the hill with a sprint to the top. Mosey to the soccer field.

4. 11’s, with  width of field travel – conducted 1 Mike Tyson, run across field, 10 Imperial burpees (an imperial walker with a burpee). Proceed through to 10 Mike Tyson’s and 1 Imperial Burpee. Pick up the 6. And that was TIME

COT:

Prayers for safe returns for those traveling, including Guiness. Prayers for Tenderfoot’s mother in law as the doctors try to diagnose her eye issues.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

What a great way to end the year, men! As usual, challenge was given to lead, and YHC gave of his level best – thanks for the opportunity and the push to get better.
