Backblasts have value – Today’s BD stolen from Home

Preamble:

6 pre-runners including a 2.0! It sure ain’t cold no more!

If you’re not in the mood for my rambling… feel free to just read Homer’s backblast from his BD at the Hooch yesterday… which he stole in the first place! Maybe there is something to this whole Backblast thing!

Arms Abs and Legs

Warm-O-Rama:

SSH, Windmills, Weedpickers, Hillbillies

The Thang:

YHC had a nice, low mosey BD, we really didn’t travel far.

Start at the corner for an arms round:

10 Burpees, 20 hand release merkins, 30 shoulder taps, 40 merkins, 50 air presses – start with a lap around and parking lot and a lap between each exercise.

A short mosey to the flag (I told you it was low mosey) for the abs round:

10 v-ups, 20 BBSU, 30 American Hammers, 40 LBCs, 50 Freddie Mercury’s – start with a lap and a lap between every exercise

Another quick mosey up to the pavlion area for legs:

10 squat jumps, 20 cheerleaders, 30 Bonnie Blairs, 40 lunges, 50 squats – start with a lap and a lap between every exercise.

At every round we did 5 squats then a burpee until the 6 came in.

Back to the flag for Captain Thor… somebody said we need to get beach body ready! thanks to the folks that called a round for us.

Of course Vertigo went straight back to hammers, Hitchcock with some dying cockroach, and Bo Knows with some unreasonably fast box cutters.

Convergence Saturday up at North Alpharetta Park. There’s a bunch of pre-runs and pre-rucks so feel free to wear yourself out ahead of time.
