Preamble:
A visit from the Weasel Shaker...fortunately the Q is ready for the auditWarm-O-Rama:
Long run around the field to the center. Standard issue SSH, Imperial Walker, Weed picker, and Mercans. Then, jog to the baseline for an extended warmup courtesy of the Sasquatch CSAUP. I don't have it written down, but cycles of 10 Squats, Mercans, LBCs, Burpees with a run to the other side of the field in between. As I would find out later, this was a good way to boost our mileage but lasted way too long for everything I had planned.The Thang:
- To start off the promised Leg Day, 10 minute EMOM routine:
- 10 star jumps
- 15 squats
- 20 calf raises, per Liquor's request
- Perform all exercises each minute, rest until the start of the next minute
- Another gem pulled from the Sasquatch- Bears and Burpees in a Box
- Cones set up in an almost square pattern, roughly 15 x 15
- Bear crawl between cones, ALWAYS FACING THE SAME WAY, after the first bear crawl complete 10 burpees. At the next cone, complete 9, then 8...all the way to 1
- There is only one rule: Always face the same direction!
- Take our dazed bodies out to the parking lot and grab a moderate-large coupon. Come back to the field for a 13 minute AMRAP routine
- 20 goblet squats
- 20 V-ups
- Frog jump out to the penalty box line
- Lunge walk back
- 20 Mountain Climbers
- Run to midfield and back
- Return coupons to the pile. Circle up just outside the field
- 30 Monkey Humpers
- 30 Lateral Hops
- 2 rounds of Monkey Howlers- hold monkey humper position, as each PAX in succession completes 10 monkey humpers
