Preamble:

Back at the Black Widow after a few things kept me away. Good to be back with these guys on the baby butt smooth parking lots at Webb Bridge. With a downranger and an FNG in the mix, a thorough disclaimer was given and we were off.

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to the top parking lot for:
  • Slow Weekpickers IC x10
  • Copperhead squats IC x10
  • SSH IC x10
  • Several stretching exercises that put a few guys in pretzel mode

The Thang:

Mosey back to the now 'old' turf field where we tackled a set of exercises on each side with a MOT after. Side 1 - 15 reps each
  • Diamond merkins Clock squats Big Bois Bear crawl to top of box then run to end of field Mosey back and plank for the 6
Side 2 - 20 reps each
  • Hand release merkins Jump squats V-ups lap around the field, low plank for the 6
Side 3 - 20 reps each
  • Monkey Humpers Reverse LBCs Crawl bear to top of box then run to end of field Mosey back and air chair for the 6
Side 4 - 15 reps each
  • Merkins Squats Hammers 1/2 lap around the field
Meet in the middle circle for some Crowd Pleasers OYO. One merkin, one groiner, two merkins, two groiners, etc. YHC got to 6+6 Mosey past the beautiful but locked up new mega turf field to the rock pile where pax were instructed to pick a solid two-handed coupon.
  • OH press to failure (aka stopping for more than 3 seconds) then drop the rock and run a half lap.
  • Curls to failure then run
  • Skull crushers to failure then run
Rocks were returned and we were off to the BFH At the top of the hill, pax were instructed to do 10 burpee broad jumps then run to the manhole cover and do uphill big bois for the six. Mosey to the bottom where more yoga was introduced. Similar to the Crowd Pleasers in terms of rep counts, start in a low (butt almost to the ground) squat then stand up and clap your hands over your head, back to a low squat with hands on the ground and left your legs as high as you can (almost like a donkey kick but legs/feet are closer to your body), then do a merkin. Rinse ane repeat but do each movement 2x then 3x, etc. YHC made it to 7 before time was called. Bernie to the manhole cover then run to the top. Back to the flag for a couple minutes of mary.

COT:

Praises for beautiful weather, a downrange pax and an FNG! Prayers for my friend David battling health issues including vision loss. Prayers for Knowzit's M with scary heart issues. Prayers for the guys doing Hill Seeker this weekend. Prayers for health challenges for all (mental and physical)
