Preamble:
Year 5! Unbelievable but the fans demand it and I am just thrilled to throw this party every year. A rules refresher:- 2-3 in a group with similar paces.=
- A candy bag will be carried around. If you find the person with it you pick from the bag. Candy = 5 Mercans. Nuts/Other is 0.
- You reset by running back to where Santa's village is normally setup and then search again.
- Every five minutes or so the bag will pass to another group so it could be anywhere. Just keep moving the whole time. Try to keep your pace. No sprinting away from people
- Parking lots and Garages are in bounds, as well as any known secret passages.
- Residential and outer roads are out of bounds.
The Thang:
Devito and False Start choose to spend the morning with me and we take off ahead of the group ducking through parking garages to start weaving our way around. Other highlights include:- The Respects quickly teaming up but suddenly being followed by the bag since they refuse to turn around
- Delorean's daughter Freestyle taking a turn with the bag and dishing out Mercans immediately.
- The world's longest hose stretching a quarter mile down the Avalon drag
- Nacho and Beaker not here for the games and running circles around Avalon.
- Parking garages were a lot quieter and less dank smelling than last year.
- Windjammers with a huge representation (was it me or was it the "bring a coupon" instruction at Windjammer that helped that?)
- Coffee by Cookie (Major Kudos for supplying)
