Preamble:

F3 is about the brotherhood, so this beatdown was an homage to such.  The Thangs are brotherly themed, as was the playlist.  T-claps to Miller Time for cracking the playlist code.

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey with usual mix of Warm up exercises.  Used the mosey to point out a collection of cones and to grab some stones (Coupons).

The Thang:

Thang 1: Van Halens and Dire Straits. Van Halens consisted of partners alternating between a fixed rep count exercise and an AMRAP, repeating until EACH partner completes the prescribed rep count. When finished, the partners run up a 40ish yard incline, and perform Dire Straits. Dire Straits is 5 evenly spaced cones down a roughly 40ish yard decline.  Partners mosey down, stopping at each cone to perform 1 prescribed exercise. PAX switch partners (brothers) between Rounds. Round 1:
  • VH: 51 Hand release Merkins, AMRAP monkey humpers
  • DS: 1 Burpee
  • Switch partners
Round 2:
  • VH: 50 Bonnie Blairs (single), AMRAP Coupon Curls
  • DS: 1 Burpee
  • Switch Partners
Round 3:
  • VH: 51 skull crushers, AMRAP Imperial Walkers
  • DS: 1 T-Bomb
  • Switch Partners
Round 4:
  • VH: 50 Coupon Presses, AMRAP Squats
  • DS: 1 Burpee
  • Switch Partners
Thang 2 Themed 4 corners: LOLAs (as in the Kinks' song about a drag queen): 20 reps: Lunge, Outlaws (10 per side) LBCs, American Hammers AC/DCs: 20 reps: Annies, Crunchy Frogs, Diamond Merkins, Crab Cakes Thang 3: Brothers in Arms: Partner up.  Partner 1 does 20 coupon curls, partner 2 AMRAPs air presses.  Alternate until time.
