PAX (3): Dr. Nemo (Clayton Fulbright), Sweep3r, Tank
Preamble:
Whispers of disclaimers danced in our ears as we cantered by the flag and entered the head of the Milton XC trail.
Warm-O-Rama:
Warm-up. We glided through the trails dodging carnage from a storm that came through earlier in the week. No injuries were sustained and no further trees were damaged by the PAX as we enjoyed the trails. We did our part to clear some of the debris.
The Thang:
We tackled BFH all of the PAX hung together and charged the hill at 75%. We veered off to the right avoiding the "tail of the dragon" as I like to call it. We made our way to the track. Interval or pace work. That is the question. As we stepped onto the track the PAX ran shoulder to shoulder lap after lap. The cadence and pace of the PAX decided the workout. Pace work it is. We clicked off the laps for 3+ miles on the track. Pace 7:54, 7:36, 7:29, 7:46. Moseyed back to the Nirvana flag. Part 1 of 3 completed. We hydrated and got ready for Part 2 of 3: Ruck.
COT:
Great conversation during the run. Chatted about faith, family, running, encouraging each other and exchanging ideas and general strategies in life.
Naked-Man Moleskin:
It is always a pleasure to run but running with PAX makes me extremely grateful.
