Cycle Through

Preamble:

At 5:27 it was raining, and the forecast said it would rain for the next 47 minutes.  A true blessing after some really hot mornings.  Rain or no rain, after an August beatdown you’re gonna be soaked.  Might as well stay cool.

Warm-O-Rama:

We mosey’d through the CheeseGrater with high knees, butt kickers, and caricacacacaca, then circled up by the big flag and did a standard round of SSH, Weedpickers, Imperial Walkers, arm circles, and COVID’s (shout out to Shazam, get well soon).  All in the rain :).

The Thang:

Mosey to the FOD and circle up around the Pitcher’s Mound for a Vicious Circle to the left.  All PAX bear crawl, the last man runs to the center, does 5 burpees, runs to the front.  Then we reversed it with Crab Walk to the right while the last man does 30 Freddy Mercuries AC.

Head to home plate & kick off a 5-corners escalator.  At each corner, wait for the six in a High Plank, mixing in right side up/left side up:

• 10 LBC’s
• 20 Sumo Squats
• 30 Mercans
• 40 Bonnie Blairs SC
• 50 American Hammers AC

Mosey back to the flag for 1.5 mins of Dying Cockroaches and Box Cutters.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Great crew this morning and fun conversations.  YHC expressed my thoughts on working out in the rain- I got my F3 name b/c I like backpacking, and when a storm rolls in, you just have to keep moving foward.  No way to avoid it, just settle in and get wet.  A couple of early grumbles gave way to gratitude for the cool temps.  Pleasure to lead!
