Board of Yacht

Preamble:

Perfect confluence of a brutal 78-degree morning and recent reminder from a fellow PAX that this was Yacht Rock week.  Time to break out a banger playlist and accompanying “Board of Yacht”.

Warm-O-Rama:

Easy mosey along the trail to the playground for the following warm-ups:

• Abe Vigodas
• Hillbillys
• Plank Jacks

The Thang:

Q directed all PAX to partner up and select a coupon for each partner group and gathered everyone up for the following instructions:

• The “Board of Yacht” was presented with a list of exercises accompanied by an artist name.  At the beginning and during every song change, the group performing exercises at the playground would have to guess the artist and perform the accompanying exercise.  Wrong guesses would be rewarded by 10 burpees.
• Parter 1 would be performing exercises listed on the “Board of Yacht” while Partner 2 runs up the sidewalk/hill to the top, performs 3 burpees, follows the sidewalk in a loop back toward the playground, then performs 3 pull-ups.
• Switch roles, rinse and repeat until Q called times.

Raider was not in our midst this morning, so PAX rightly suffered through many song misses and subsequent Burpees as a result.  Some frustration expressed by Cliff by the lack of Journey and Bieber by an egregious omission of Steely Dan.

With T-5 on the clock, direct all PAX to return coupons and head back to the flag for some quick Mary before time was called.
