Extortion 17

Preamble:

YHC came back fresh off vacation with a hankering for some sandbag work.

Warm-O-Rama:

Disclaimer – given in a half a$$ fashion since it was just the two of us there at the moment we started. Beeline did show, but was needing to modify due to an injury and did some running/walking while we did the BD

NO SSH today – I didn’t wanna do them today and no one can make me.

Instead we did

Sun Gods, Weedpickers, and Imperial walkers and that was all the warm up either of us worried about.

The Thang:

6 Upright Rows with Knee-ups

11 Squat Jump Over Sandbag

Big loop Sandbag ruck AFAP

Standard Sandbag 60#/40# – I had one 40# and one 80# sandbag. we swapped each round.

Script Kiddie swears we did 9 rounds and I am still not sure. Gonna need a piece of chalk next time to mark our rounds. LOL

COT:

On August 6, 2011, the final flight of Extortion 17 resulted in the single deadliest incident for the US military during the War in Afghanistan. When the Boeing CH-47D Chinook helicopter was hit, all on board were instantly killed. The resulting crash killed 31 Americans on board including 17 US Navy SEALs. Extortion 17 represents the greatest single-incident loss of American lives in Operation Enduring Freedom – Afghanistan.

This BD (even though it was a few days early) honors those men.

For COT we shared a few prayer concerns and had coffeteria.
