Boxing Day Beatdown

Preamble:

So, like many folks on Christmas, YHC enjoys the company of family and friends, as well as a good meal….and possibly an adult beverage (or 4). Thus, when it came time to shake off  1 day of rust after a frigid Scroogefest beatdown (plus another cold morning), a Boxing Day present of perpetual motion was in order. Given a veteran crew, short disclaimer and off we went.

Warm-O-Rama:

10 each of the following:

Weedpickers

Copperhead squats

Covids

SSH’s

Mosey around the ampitheater to Mater’s Parking Lot.

The Thang:

Lining up on the near edge of the lot perpendicular to the parking spaces. Reverse 11’s ( starting with 1 Monkey Humper with 10 Drydocks). Made mode of travel the interesting part.

Cycles 1-3: Bernie Sanders 2 spaces, then Burpee, repeat all the way to the other end; return with lunge walk 2 spaces and a burpee repeat all the way back.

Cycles 4-6: Similar to 1-3, change to Bobby Hurleys from Burpees

Cycles 7-9: Similar to 4-6, change to Star Jumps

Last cycle: Burpee Bear crawls down and back, bear crawling  spaces punctuated with a Burpee.

Mosey to the flag for one set of gas pumpers, and that was TIME

COT:

1. Mini convergence on Friday with the Windjammer crew. 630 start.

2. Prayers for Feathers’ dad as he commences his radiation.
