Preamble:

A couple of years ago, YHC was the only PAX who knew of the traditional Holiday Beatdowns and they usually wouldn’t come out until December 20th or so…those days are past!  All of the classics started getting scooped up before the Thanksgiving Turkey leftovers even got cold, so we had to dig into Santa’s bag of tricks…off we go!

The Thang:

Today’s theme was centered around riding the Polar Express to Santa’s Workshop to unveil the first gifts of Christmas.  No place captures the warm holiday magic like “The Shaft,” so all PAX grab a coupon and head that way.

Every time we arrived at the workshop, Santa would open a new gift for the PAX with a quantity of either 12 or 24.  After opening a present, we would take the Express around part of the complex and return for another surprise.  This year’s most requested presents were as follows:

• Thanks to all PAX for tremendous support of F3 Cumming’s 1st ever Santa Ruck.  60 PAX in attendance and approximately $2K worth of toys donated to The Place’s Holiday House.
• Shout out to all PAX in support of suicide prevention.  As individuals and men, we often struggle alone.  Don’t carry a burden on your own – you have a band of brothers who will stand with you.  If you find yourself in a place of depressive or destructive thoughts, please reach out to someone in our group.  We have your back.
• Prayer’s for Hushpuppy’s Mom who is battling Dementia.  Prayers for guidance and comfort to HP and his family.  We’re here to assist if you need us.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

• Amazing year for F3 Cumming and it was great celebrating with many PAX at the first annual F3 Holiday Party last Saturday evening at Stoney J’s winery.  11 PAX arrived with Ms for a total of 22 in attendance.  We’ll be looking for opportunities to continue the strong momentum we have with 2nd F’s in 2023
• The Alpha Region is recognizing PAX with over 100 Posts in 2022.  They are counting from backblast’s and we recognized a deficit in completing backblast’s, primarily for Jailbreak and The Storm as they are running/ rucking AOs and there isn’t much that needs to be described.  In 2023, we will create bb’s that include a screen shot of the route as well as the PAX who attended and it should address our issue for those locations.  Site Q’s will likely bug you a bit more in 2023 about completing them, so we’ll add it to our F3 Cumming New Year’s Resolution list.  That being said, we did have Schneider, Valley Girl, Baskins, Crab Cake, and Snowman on the list.  I’m sure there are others, but thank you to these gentlemen for their dedication and commitment throughout the year.
