Preamble:

Rubicon showed up BIG this morning with 21 PAX arriving on scene and circling up, getting ready to put in work.  I felt like I needed a megaphone for the disclaimer, but I did my best to hit the usual housekeeping items a bit louder than usual.  After that, we were off.

Warm-O-Rama:

  • A light mosey around the parking
  • karaoke
  • backwards run

  • 10 Hillbillies
  • 10 SSH’s
  • 10 Weedpickers
  • Arm Circles OYO
  • COVIDS

The Thang:

Additional light mosey over to the Gazebo where the board of pain awaited.  The board presented a straightforward goal…a total team effort to get it cleared before the bell rings.  PAX could choose between 16 exercises, each with 25 lines next to them.  Each line constituted 25 reps of said exercise, and once completed, PAX were instructed to wipe a line off the board;

  • American Hammers
  • BBSU’s
  • Derkins
  • Dips
  • Merkins
  • Plank Jacks
  • Sweat Angels
  • Crab Cakes
  • Step-ups (or lunges)
  • Monkey humpers
  • Squats
  • Jump squats
  • Run a lap
  • Bear crawl to the parking lot and back
  • Farmers carry two cinders to parking lot and back
  • 10 burpees

With 21 PAX getting after it while being serenaded by my 80’s deep cuts playlist, the board was annihilated in no time flat.  Extra credit was then provided by Miller Time & yours truly, spreading the love between additional burpees, step-ups, laps and a few other exercises.  With a few minutes remaining, we moseyed back to the flag and circled up for some Mary to close us out.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Great work by everyone this morning and thank you for your support with the monster turn out! It was awesome.  I wouldn’t want to celebrate 42 any other way than with accelerating in the gloom with 21 bad ass HIM.  Really good TNT from Fanny Pack, special thanks to No-See-Um for letting me steal the Q from him, and thanks also to Pinkey for bringing the extra cinder.
