Whiskey River Blues Run

Preamble:

YHC celebrates his 28th birthday today. What better way to start the day than with a Jailbreak run followed by the best coffee this side of the equator?!

Warm-O-Rama:

Open door to truck, step out, locate gos signal, press Start Run, start running.

The Thang:

YHC continued the quest of 100 routes today with another brand new route. We’ll call it the Whiskey River Blues route. Look it up of strava.

How did it get its name, you ask? We ran the new (almost finished) cut through road behind the fairgrounds parking lot that comes out at the Cumming Distillery (Whiskey). Pax had to go with the flow for about 100 feet on hwy 9 with no sidewalk (River). About midway, we ran through the Best Buy (Blue) parking lot before heading home up Mary Alice; which btw is miserably steep so we were very sad (second Blues). It was almost like climbing Ranier, ask Dumpster..err um..I mean Baskins. Dude climbed Indian seats last week, total badass.

COT:

F3 is great. We can always improve at home. Dumpsters mom is doing better and things are looking up for her.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

None of us wanted to be there today, but we won the mental battle at 0500 and showed up. We only complained about being tired and sore for about 2 minutes, then never looked back. Best decision we made today! No ragrets! SYITG

P.S. – can’t buy beer in Ga before 6am and apparently Cumming doesn’t have a single crooked gas station attendant. Sub beer for biscuits. Great success.
