Membership Run

Preamble:

Best day of the week…time to run! PRICs have been lite lately, and today was about the same. Nevertheless, YHC vowed we had enough routes to never run the same route for a year…the trend continues today with YHC on Q. Plus, YHC needed to renew his costco membership.

Warm-O-Rama:

Get out of truck. Asked “where’s Whiz”. Pretend to know what we’re doing with a couple stretches. Pull up route on trusty Forerunner. Lets go!

The Thang:

As a group of Pax, Run In downtown Cumming (PRIC).

Head down Atlanta Rd,

cut over to Mary Alice,

left on Marketplace,

<enter ungodly hills> <enter missing sidewalks & deep canyons capable of swallowing at lease 220 lbs worth of PRIC>

left on Bald Ridge,

say Hi to costco,

more ungodly hills,

one heart spike of 190 bpm,

one well earned down hill jaunt home.

Praise for recent lifelong goals checked off, but staying hungry and disciplined. Prayers for big discussions coming up.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

We both had one of those mornings where the thought of the Gloom weighed us down until about 5:40. Then out of nowhere, the Gloom transformed into one of the best days (if not the best) of our week.

I have really enjoyed the large numbers and growth we’ve had as a region here in F3Cumming over the last year or so, but man….today was one of those days where the Male Bonding was better than the workout. Above solid mumble chatter for 50 minutes plus some hard work. Can’t beat that.
