Preamble:
As The Masters was approaching next week, seemed appropriate to have it stop by the Wreck before moving on to Augusta. The Q had handy “golf” clubs ready for each PAX, along with a glow-in-the-dark golf ball.
Warm-O-Rama:
Header over to the parking lot next to football fields for some warm-up with the golf club in hand
- High-knees
- Windmill
- Mountain Climbers
The Thang:
Thang #1 – PAX moseyed over to the football field on the goal line and chose partners. Partner 1 hit the golf ball down the field and Partner 2 bear-crawled down to the ball. Partner 2 then hit the ball and Partner 1 bear crawled. Some PAX hit the ball far for a nice bear crawl for their partner (some mumble chatter). PAX then rinsed-and-repeat back down the field with crab walks.
Thang #2 – PAX moseyed to the tennis courts where they found an 18 hole replica of the Masters (almost). 18 stations were setup, each with a hole and exercise. The PAX counter their puts to each hole and multiplied that number times the par for the course for the total number of reps they had to do for each exercise. A few tunes were playing in the background.
