Jailbreak Launch

Preamble:

With the explosion of pre and pre-pre runners in the AlphaNorth, YHC threw out a line for a Thursday running AO several weeks ago and it immediately caught hold.  The name came naturally and almost immediately so all that was left was to pick a launch date and make a flag.  With 2.22.22 on the horizon we had our obvious choice.  T-Claps to inseam for setting the flag in the shovel and returning it back to YHC for the paint job.

YHC and Schneider kicked it off with a 0500 pre-run and YHC found a new route at 4:57 am as a repeat on this launch date wouldn’t suffice.

Route was up Pilgrim Mill heading out of town and right Lanier Pkwy (this has to be the biggest hill in the area outside Tower Rd and YHC had no idea.  If I knew that was the case, I would’ve explored this route weeks ago!).  Right on maple and back into town for the perfect route to launch this AO.

COT:

Prayers for Swipers dad undergoing radiation for prostate cancer, praises for Inseams CPA achievement and Hushpuppy’s new job, and prayers for Schneider’s toe to heal quickly and completely.

Caught-up with Emeril and Ansel Adams at the Cup for coffee after, who had just finished running 22.22 miles on 2/22/22 starting at 2:22 am.  Couple of animals right there!

YHC is super excited about this spot.  So so many great running options to explore and lots of PAX ready to log some miles.
