After visiting Nirvana thread yesterday to see what was going on for Saturday, YHC saw some rather strong words from the two AO Q’s calling for a pax to step up and Q.  Although the plan was to go scout the competition, I was happy to take Q

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to the always unlocked varsity football arena to find out it was locked.  OK, time to get creative in a hurry.

The Thang:

We moseyed to the campus entrance for a warmup and starting at the first light pole we did an escalator of BBSU, Mercan and squat adding one of each at every light pole.  Eventually we started going every other as there are a crapload of light poles.  We made it to the end of the campus and repeated back to the entrance with three new exercises, burpees, lunges and Pike Push ups.  We had to make our way back and needed to get to 10 reps anyway so we added some more in.

Quick mosey to the School building wall for Donkey Dans.  Every man cringes when he hears this after having done it one time previously.  Fortunately I had 100% virgins today.  1:3 ratio mercan to donkey kicks.  Yep, they now have it burned in their memory.  Being honest, YHC loves seeing pax completely gassed and cursing the q during this evolution.  It’s magical.

On to the track for three laps of different in formation.  Indian run, slalom run and then 3 burpee catch me if you can.  Back to the flag for MARY

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Over the past 6 years, there have been more than a handful of times where it had to be made up on the fly.  It’s funny that they often end up being really good.  Today felt like one of those but that’s just one humble Q’s opinion.

Funny to hear a 23 year old tell us we had some dad strength as he looked gassed several times during the hour.
