AlphaNorth hosts at NLB

Preamble:

Great opportunity to host the men of NLB.  5 NLB men joined 5 PAX for a tour of some nearby parking lots and hills and chef Snowman managed the food prep.

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey up the drive and across the street to the parking lot for warm up, all IC:

• SSH
• Windmills
• Imperial Walkers
• Willie Mays Hayes

The Thang:

Start with a Dora.  Partner A runs the loop and Partner B works on:

• 100 Mercans
• 200 Squats
• 300 LBCs

Next, 4 corners escalators.  10 reps, + 1 additional exercise at each corner facing south the entire time:

Flutters

+ Sumo squats

+Overhead claps

+Burpees

Rinse and repeat backwards, dropping one exercise on each corner.

Next, to the hill for some 11’s:

Star Jumps

Carolina Dry Docks

Back to the basketball courts for some Captain Thors to 7/28 and a mercan ring of fire

COT:

• Prayers for Bullet’s father battling illness
• Prayers for LaVida’s brothers wife and son, Ashley and Walker for the grieving of his passing 8 months ago
• Prayers for Tiny’s friend battling addiction
• Prayers for Swiper’s father for prostate cancer treatment

Naked-Man Moleskin:

What a gift it was to fellowship with these men and be part of their journey.  They are men just like us who are fighting a continuous battle to be the men that god intended them to be.  Many great conversations over dinner with several men.  Snowman was able to share his story and Flash and Air Jordan’s presence brightened the spirit of the entire place and several men commented on how great it was to have them there.  Looking forward to future opportunities to broaden our relationships with the Bound.  Aye!
