2021’s final atlas beat down

Preamble:

The weather was great, but we kept the early start.  Therefore, I didn’t know how many would show up.  Started with 2 others, but then Goat ran up as we got started.  A solid group of 4!

Warm-O-Rama:

Windmill x 12

Weed Picker x 10

Toy Soldier x 10

Michael Phelps x 10

The Thang:

PAX needed to each grab a block.  Partner up (2 groups) and start behind the plate at the baseball field.  Partner A starts at first base doing merkins on their block.  Partner B lunges with the block to first.  Then they switch – Partner A lunges to second base, while Partner B does merkins until the other partner gets to second.  Continue this pattern until Partner B lunges to home (where Partner A will be waiting doing merkins).

Next round, Partner A starts at first base doing squats w/the cinder.  Partner B murder bunnies to first.  Then “flap jack.”  Follow the same process until we meet back up at home.

Round 3 – Partner A starts w/overhead press at first.  Partner B murder bunnies to first.  While on the infield, we substituted bear crawl while dragging the block instead of a murder bunny.  When heading home from from third, murder bunny again (to avoid from tearing up the grass).

Then head to the dugout.  Here, we’ll do 11’s.  First round: Bicep Curls + Dips.  Second Round: Step-Ups (on the bench in the dugout; double count) + Blockee’s (yes, blockees).  Then we hit time!
