Preamble:

Biggest group at Storm since I have been coming here, great to see so many out for a Ruck, including Zohan with a first visit to the storm, and 2 FNG’s with us! Hushpuppy brought his oldest 2.0 this time, to be known as Dr. Vader for his love of Darth Vader and Dr. Pepper, and we welcome Bagger Vance, who was recruited by Ace Ventura here at the Storm coffeeteria a couple weeks back.

Warm-O-Rama:

We started with our typical walk and mosey through the garage up to the top floor to warm-o-rama with a beautiful sunrise.

While the group did some planking and flutter kicks, YHC introduced and summarized QSource 1.9 MAMMON – The sustaining relationship between a man and his work. Work is a sustaining virtue. Important, but your least important relationship behind your M and shorties. Don’t be a workaholic.

The Thang:

Off we rucked toward the greenway, with some good conversations among the PAX about work pressure, being a workaholic, bad bosses, and putting the M and shorties ahead of your job. We rucked out about 30 minutes, stopping twice along the way for:
Kettlebell swings, overhead presses, merkins, reverse LBC’s

Returned to the Flag at 7:57 in time for some mary- Rosalita’s, box cutters, american hammers and boat & canoe.

It was awesome to see Hushpuppy out there with both of his 2.0’s, Grogu (baby yoda) and now Dr. Vader.  Having 15 ruckers out there is a helluva way to start the weekend.  It was my honor to Q.
