Bro Down

Preamble:

Always hard to predict numbers.  When you think it will be 20, it will be 10 like today.  Great weather, coffee, YHC on Q?? – what’s there not to like?

Anyway, we had a great pre run turnout with 5 of us including Caffey (Regular Pre Runner), Lefty (inner circle) and surprise guests NoSeeUm (feeling guilty for his body abuse last week) and Cart Path.  Very average conversation was held and it was great.

Warm-O-Rama:

We did some various things around the pool parking lot, we circled up around the flag pole and did other various things to include the start of our Mercan numbers for the day.  This month we have a Mercan challenge many of us are doing.  100 mercans per day every day.  Per Devito you can do 200 today and none tomorrow so that sounded good.  We had a goal.

The Thang:

A trip to the Community Center track where we partnered up for a bro down.
10 Bro-Cans (which is actually 20) and a lap
20 Bropees and a lap
20 Big Bro Situps
Next we lined up and Bro Frogged down the length of the inside field

Next up we did an escalator around the track starting with 1 mercan, 1 BBSU, 1 squat every lightpole adding 1 of each exercise every new lightpole.

Next to the FOD with a midway stop for 20 Derkins, 20 Irkins, 40 stepups

At the FOD we Wheelbarrowed the bases with 10 mercans at every base.
Next lap we did bearcrawl, crab, reverse Crab, Cheetah with 10 mercans every base.  This got us to 201 mercans for the day.

Back to the flag where we did 20 diamonds for a grand total of 221 today.
