Starting Line Portrait Studio Christmas card
AO: Starting Line
When: 12/01/2021
QIC: Sirmixalot
PAX (5): Ace Ventura, Janeway, Script Kiddie, Sirmixalot, Suarez
Preamble:
Along with our awkward family photo and Christmas card we thought you all might appreciate an update with some of the highlights of our family’s year.
Ace is doing well. It turns out that his parole officer is much cooler than he initially thought. They got along really well and in fact were married in Vegas in June. We are so happy to welcome Eunice Stottlemeyer-Briggsandstratton-Ventura into the family.
Script Kiddie has taken a new job at the Dollar Tree’s new in store coffee bar as a barista. He likes it but says that he wishes that they would sell more than just the licorice/banana/cool ranch Dorito flavored coffee. But hey, it’s only a dollar.
Janeway is doing well as he is just finishing up his 30 minute carnival ride maintenance technician course and looks to head out on the road in 2022. It’s been a long road to complete the education for this but we are so proud of him!
Suarez has already been out decorating for Christmas. Even as I write this letter he is out on the roof. He always likes to go big on decorating. He really tries to outdo Clark Griswold. In fact our December electric bill last year came in at a whopping 5 digits… Thankfully we have switched to LEDs this year so hopefully we can avoid such an unexpected expense. YHC is still paying off the debt by busking in the outlet mall parking lot doing Murder Bunnies and Monkey Humpers for public entertainment.
YHC has had quite the year as well. I finally got the rest of the glue off of my scalp in August. After the “permanent gorilla glue toupee” debacle in April I’m not sure I’ll ever be the same. I may have to grow my beard long enough to comb it back over my bald spot.
That’s it for us! Hope you all had a great year and an even merrier Christmas. Oh, and and we look forward to seeing you all in the gloom again very soon!
The Starting Line family.

COT:
MOC/Acceleration Point – Ace shared about how important it is to show grace to others in our lives whether it is our M, our 2.0s or just someone we interact with as we go about our day. Some good discussion followed.
Prayers for Janeway and M, For all our relationships, health, extended family etc.
Coffeteria – good fun discussion around a bunch of topics from Olan Mills to Nutrition and Intermittent Fasting. As always great conversation.
Naked-Man Moleskin:
I always look forward to the fellowship of F3. Especially on cold mornings, when it is a challenge to drag yourself outside into the cold, it is nice to know that you won’t be alone.
