Tired Again

Preamble:

Dr. Rico needed a fill in Q and I looked at the Q sheet and it had been a month since I last Q’d at the Norseman.  How in the world did that happen.  Just a short time ago Ha-ha, Callahan, and my self were rotating every week!  Love to see the continued growth of the region!

Warm-O-Rama:

Quick mosey down the hill over to the school parking lot for some SSH’s, Weed Pickers, and Arm Circles.  SSH’s are always easier when I am calling in cadence.  And someone mentioned about Arm Circles being the Sun Gods???  Those pagan god’s don’t belong at the Norseman!

The Thang:

After the warm up we mosey across the school campus toward the tires.  We partnered up and flipped some tires while one man ran down the practice field.  Luckily, Pumba and I had the Gigantic Tire.  There is no telling how much that thing weighs.  Crikey and Honey Glazed came to the rescue and helped us finish it off.  After everyone finished we put two tires on the ground and did an Indian run tire flip down the hill.  After not getting far we ran out of time and headed back to the flag.

Thanks to Pumba for joining me on the pre run this morning.  He was talking about how slow of a runner he is…our last two miles on the pre run were 7:51 and 7:44.  Not too slow in my book!
