Preamble:
The VQ adrenaline was pumping as I pulled into the parking lot to see 5 Pax cars and an unhitched tag along camper. I planted the flag and caught up with Homer as cars started piling in the parking lot. Who was in the camper? Was it an F3 BD Lord? Whoever they were, they never darkened their door to give us a thumbs up or thumbs down for parading around the parking lot. Never the less, the nerves seemed to settle down and as 0530 struck.
Warm-O-Rama:
No FNGs. This was Wingut’s VQ. The usual disclaimer was stated and emphasis was placed on not suing Wingnut as he has 2 children and no money.
We started with a counter clockwise mosey loop of our asphalt paradise with some side shuttles, butt kickers and high knees before we stopped about halfway for SSH, Windmills and Hillbillies in cadence. Wingnut then offered to the PAX to do 20 good mornings on their own as a show of “this doesn’t seem to bad, he seems like a nice guy” all before barking out that 20 burpees would then follow those lovely good mornings.
We recovered and moseyed on over to a section of our asphalt paradise monumented by a roll-off dumpster.
The Thang:
Pair up. Partner 1 starts chipping away at the below as Partner 2 makes a lap around the closest island.
100 Dancing Bears
200 LBCs
300 Squats
From here, we did wall sits for about 45 seconds and then pulled off and held the bottom of a squat for another 30.
Moseyed back to our gridiron/parkinglot for a little 1st and 10/up down. 10 lines of parking rows. 1st line, do 1 burpee and then jog to the next line and do 2 burpees, so on and so forth until you reach the 10th line. Once complete double back 9,8,7, etc.
Our firebreathers finished up and circled up for PAX led movements as the rest of us finished up. A small group of PAX and YHC joined our brothers as they finished up their 5,4,3,2,1 reps/jog.
We had about 5 minutes left and YHC wanted to take a page out of Poppers improvQ book but with a twist. Doomsday clock but with squats instead of pushups. Hold the bottom of the squat and count off, if you stop, hold a plank until its over. After 5 minutes about 5 still remained, but we it was 0615.

Please pray for Dinghy’s family member who is traversing some medical challenges and Sugar’s family as academic/social settings continue to evolve. Lord give these families strength through difficult times.
