Gettin’ my Halo On

Preamble:

After a glorious visit at Casa de Ha-HA and an even more glorious BRR 2020 (three in a row for YHC), I was on my way back to the airport to fly back home to the PHL and thought I’d stop on in at JFBC and get my Halo on. Apparently the way to get a kotter back out that you happen to now work with is to fly in from out of state and then turn up the EH to about a 100! Thankfully it worked!

Warm-O-Rama:

Quick mosey around the vast expanse of parking lots available at Halo and then circle up for some:

Windmill x 15 IC

Moroccan Night Clubs x 15 IC

Goofballs x 15 IC

Weedpickers x 15 IC

Merkins x 15 IC

The Thang:

So apparently the guys at Halo hadn’t gotten around too much yet at their newish AO so I introduced them to one of their lovely baseball fields and suggested some different modes of getting around the bases. Three rounds around the bases, each time a different way around and a different exercise at each base with 5 reps at 1st, 10 reps at 2nd, 15 reps at 3rd and 20 reps at home.

Round 1:

Crab Walk around the bases with Dancing Crabs (4 ct) at each base

Round 2:

Lunge Walk around the bases with Bonnie Blairs (2 ct) at each base

Round 3:

Bear Crawl around the bases with Merkins (single count) at each base

Apparently they loved it so much the PAX were begging for a round 4, but that was it for the field work.

Next I led the PAX on a quick mosey over to the other side of the AO where there were apparently some stairs, and stairs there were! Enough stairs to spread out and do 5 calf raises on each stair all the way up both flights! Calves are now sufficiently smoked!

Mosey back over towards the starting spot but stop along the way for 2 rounds of a Lowes special treat…SPEED HUMPERS!

With 5 minutes left, it was PAX choice for Mary to close us out that included:

Dollies, JLo’s, TBombs, Heels to Heaven and maybe a couple more??

Praise for a safe and successful and AMAZING Blue Ridge Relay for many of the Alpha PAX and prayers for a safe trip home for Lowes to Philly. Prayers for a couple of Philly area PAX struggling with personal and mental health related struggles. Others spoken and unspoken.
