When: 09/03/2020
QIC: Ha-ha
PAX (10): Nacho Libre, Callahan, Jethro, Crikey, Hot Sauce, Catfish, Birdie, Tuberville, Shooter, Ha-ha
Preamble:
Post IPC week 1 hangover combined with BRR training hangover had me highly motivated to Q an easy leg day. But you can’t let the PAX off easy! We don’t get out of bed at 0500 for easy!
Warm-O-Rama:
We mosied up to the big lot and circled for
- SSH
- Weed Pickers
- Hillbillies
Then mosied over to the playground.
The Thang:
Morning Call
PAX did AMRAP merkins while 2 PAX at a time left the circle and ran over to the pull up bars for 10 pull ups then return and the next 2 PAX go. A great wake up call for the pecs.
11s
We mosied over to the Miracle field pavilion for 11s of dips and derkins. We split the group in 2 so half started at the back pavilion with dips and half started at the front pavilion for derkins.
Jack Webb
Most of the guys here at The Norseman are too young to remember Jack Webb and his portrayal of Sgt. Joe Friday in the TV series Dragnet. So time for some education. Get those hands UP!
Jack Webb are 1 merkin to 4 air presses starting with 1 and 4 and working your way up to 10 and 40.
Who is the guy walking around the football field in the dark with a cell phone?
Tote the Rock
We mosied over to the rock pile while everyone selected a coupon for our next series.
11s Round 2
- No mosey 11s with Curls and Overhead press
- 20 fronts lifts
- 20 Curls again
- 20 Shoulder Taps
- 20 Bent Rows
Return Rocks
Duck, Duck, Goose?
Mosey back to football field. Circle up in a plank. Each PAX one at a time gets up and runs around the group and planks back up while the next runs. We had an interesting combination of clockwise and counter-clockwise runs.
Mosey back to the flag
Mary
- LBCs
- J Los
- 1 Squat (I could not leave legs out completely!)
