Preamble:

Global pandemic, stay at home schooling, The Wreck is shut down, dogs and cats living together… What’s a PAX to do?

Start a new AO I guess. Whether temporary during our shelter in place orders or built to last, only time will tell. But today marked our first foray into The Brimstone.

Warm-O-Rama:

With 6 brave souls maintaining their distance and enjoying a later start time, at 0600 we moseyed into the dark getting our first look at our RFBC grounds with a lap around the parking lot. We circled up under the breezeway for some SSHs, Weed Pickers, Imperial Walkers and Mountain Climbers.

The Thang:

Then a short mosey back to the Sweat Wagon to pick up some cinders. We deposited said cinders at designated location on the grassy field and lined up at the opposite end for instruction.

Starting at the curb we did:

• 5 Burpees
• Mosey to your cinder (approx 50 yds)
• 10 Curls
• Bears/Blocks (25 yds) to the hill
• Cusak up the hill
• 15 Squats with blocks
• Cusak down
• Bear/Blocks 25 yds
• 10 curls
• mosey back to curb

Plank for the Six and rinse and repeat x 3 adding 5 reps to every exercise. By round 4 the burpees were taking a toll.

Finishing up we did one round of

• 10 Thrusters
• 10 Kettle Bell Swings
• 10 Skull Crushers
• Hot lap around the church

Got the cinders back to the truck with just enough time for one round of Diamonds (Aflac’s best friend)

I don’t know about you guys but I need the fellowship. Without it my motivation disappears. The easy way becomes the only way. It’s not about being first or last, but just having others to suffer with makes a world of difference. And it’s always nice to have someone to try and keep up with.
