12 Days of Christmas

Preamble:

With it being so close to Christmas, and YHC not having participated in a “12 Days of Christmas” BD yet, it seemed like the perfect opportunity.

Warm-O-Rama:

Quick mosey around the parking lot

• SSH
• Windmill
• Imperial Squat Walker

The Thang:

Then grab the board and mosey to the parking lot on the other side of the soccer fields. Set up the board and some Christmas music from Pandora (more on that later).

Run around the parking lot between each day, and counting down, of course:

1 – jump squat
2 – SSH
3 – merkins
4 – overhead presses (with coupon)
5 – burpees
6 – dollys
7 – mountain climbers
8 – big boy situps
9 – carolina dry docks
10 – bent over rows (with coupon)
11 – plank jacks
12 – bonnie blairs

Then when you peaked at day 12 – BB, go back down.

YHC chose a random Christmas station from Pandora – big mistake. It got a lot of complaints from the PAX. Next time, more preparation will go into the music (or there may just not be any).

It took almost the entire time, but we quit just a few days early for a visit to the AO namesake.

Mosey to the bottom of the Widowmaker, 20 squats IC. Then Bernie Sanders to the manhole and regular mosey the rest of the way to the top. YHC could tell that everyone was very glad we made time for this.

Then mosey back to the flag, with perfect timing, no Mary.

Prayers for those who have lost loved ones, those that are dealing with illnesses and loved ones that have illnesses. Gratitude for all we’ve been given this year, thankful for everything we have.
