Balloon fight

Preamble:

To celebrate the labor we all strive at, we had a 7:00 AM start and YHC had a little fun planned for the group.  Lots of chatter about daylight before the start and there were several concerned PAX as Aflac was no where to be found.  We assumed he must naturally be dead in a ditch if he wasn’t at the Wreck.

Warm-O-Rama:

Group assembled and moseyed up to the upper parking lot for warm ups.

• Imperial walkers
• Weed pickers
• Toy soliders
• One footed Merkins

The Thang:

After warm-ups we headed to the hill and for some hard work before the fun since we had an hour to get through this morning.

Simple 7’s on the hill.  Donkey kicks at the bottom, crab walk to the top and then Carolina dry docks then run back down.  There was nothing simple about the crab walks up the hill and I can still feels them this morning.

After we finished, we headed for the coupon pile, grabbed a rock and headed for the football field.  YHC had the deck of death set up with a bucket of water balloons in the middle.

PAX would run to the middle and get a balloon.  They would try to hit the PAX too either side of them in the circle.  If they connected, all PAX except them had to do 5 burpees.  If the missed they had to do 5 burpees alone.  Then PAX would do the exercise for the card chosen.

Diamonds = Diamonds
Hearts = Over head presses
Spade = Curls (x2)
Clubs = Smurf jacks
Jokers = Hot lap

Prayers for OJ as he starts his new job.

Glad to have Guinness from Charlotte join us this morning.
