It was so quiet you could hear a mouse fart.

Preamble:
16 PAX showed up in this morning’s gloom for a brisk 38-degree morning ready to get the day started off right! There were no FNGs this morning, so a very brief disclaimer was given and we were underway.
15 PAX began a slow mosey towards the park entrance as we witnessed a pair of headlights cresting the hill. Apparently, Puddle Jumper had hit the snooze button this morning and showed up fashionably late for this beatdown.
An audible was called for the warmup so PJ could join the PAX as we circled up at the first parking lot and got started.
Warm-O-Rama:
20 SSH
The PAX then had a short mosey to the next parking lot where we performed some footwork drills up, down, and across the parking lot lines. We were warmed up and ready to go at this point.
The Thang:
This part of the beatdown began at the end of Fouts Road. The PAX was to run the length of Fouts Road and meet at the library parking lot. In order to get there, they had to complete 6 pain stations which included the following exercises.
- 20 Squat Jumps
- 20 Big Boy Sit Ups
- 20 Merkins
- 20 Mountain Climbers
Mailbox Station #1: 20 Squat Jumps, 20 Big Boy Sit Ups, 20 Merkins, 20 Mountain Climbers
No mumble chatter.
Mailbox Station #2: 20 Squat Jumps, 20 Big Boy Sit Ups, 20 Merkins, 20 Mountain Climbers
No mumble chatter.
Intersection Station #3: 20 Squat Jumps, 20 Big Boy Sit Ups, 20 Merkins, 20 Mountain Climbers.
Tebow mentioned that there is no mumble chatter.
Mailbox Station #4: 20 Squat Jumps, 20 Big Boy Sit Ups, 20 Merkins, 20 Mountain Climbers.
Still no mumble chatter.
Intersection Station # 5: 20 Squat Jumps, 20 Big Boy Sit Ups, 20 Merkins, 20 Mountain Climbers.
No mumble chatter and a few grunts from Sox.
Library Parking Lot Station #6: 20 Squat Jumps, 20 Big Boy Sit Ups, 20 Merkins, 20 Mountain Climbers.
No mumble chatter.
A cumulative total of 120 reps of each exercise were performed. Well done men!!!
Still no mumble chatter.
After the six was in the PAX moseyed over to the library entrance where the men lined up at a knee wall and held the plank position while doing alternating shoulder taps. The men’s feet were elevated on the knee wall during the shoulder taps while each member of the PAX took turns performing 10 step ups. I don’t think anybody maintained the plank and shoulder taps for the entire time but there were some great efforts!
After this, we all went for a trail run to the corner of HB and Eves Rd. The gazelles waited for the six and then we ran to the corner of Eves Rd and the back park entrance. We waited for the six by walking the decline down to the stop sign and gathered up for the next assignment.
The PAX was then instructed to bear crawl back up the hill. After the bear crawl, we had about two minutes left before the beatdown was complete. We all ran back to the flag and recovered.
There was still very little mumble chatter.
