Preamble:

YHC had the reigns this morning and got a little greedy with the snooze button. As 5:15 rolled around I realized how late I was and managed to get to the Firehouse just as the PAX were heading out on their mosey. I was welcomed by Reuben and 3 Rocky Balboa look a likes in their sweats and hoodies on. It’s nice to see the numbers creeping back up towards our “warm weather” averages.

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to the lower lots where the terrain is a bit more level.

The Thang:

F3 Deck of Pain made its return today. After a quick shuffle we set the cards on the ground and held a round robin of sorts with all the PAX taking their turn pulling out some pain. We were hit with everything from a 4oom sprint to bear crawls and just about every combination of Merkin / Squats/ Lunges and Ab work out there.

Baker took control when he pulled a wild card and shared with us a gift from his wife, called the “surrender”. Our interest was high as he told us his M taught him this and the first instructions were to put your hands behind your head…but in the end it was just another way to thrash our legs.

6:15 came quickly as we were only 3/4 of the way through the deck, but rest assured these will be brought out again for us to finish what we started.
