Twisted Surprise Visits Norseman
AO: The Norseman
When: 02/19/2019
QIC: Cookie @blunsford4
PAX (5): Stew, Nacho, HaHa, Callahan, Cookie
Preamble:
Another cold & rainy day in the gloom awaited the 5 PAX who braved the fartsack to become both mentally and physically stronger. Here is what went down.
Warm-O-Rama:
Mosey to side parking lot for SSH, Windmill & Imperial Walker
The Thang:
YHC took a page out of Devito’s playbook and decided to bring the Twisted Surprise to the Norseman. It consists of a bunch of running with several pain stations mixed in along the way. We tallied about 3.6 miles and did several dozen Burpees along with Merkins, Bonnie Blairs, Squats, Mountain Climbers, Balls to the Wall, Dips and more. We finished with an Indian Run to the flag that got us back at 6:15a on the dot, so no time for Mary.
COT:
Prayers for healthy bodies and minds. Praise for those that treated their M to something special for Valentines last week. To become better men, we talked about the importance of being intentional with our actions, including spending quality time with our M’s and children. Announcements included a new “Cherokee” region workout that is starting tomorrow, 2/20 at Bell Memorial Park in Alpharetta/Milton. Yes, that Alpharetta/Milton. Talk to HaHa for details as he lives close by, but it is my understanding it is a Cherokee led workout. Always an honor to lead!
Naked-Man Moleskin:
YHC couldn’t help to notice that Nacho fell behind on the run a little a few different times. My only guess is that he is tired of leading the PAX and wanted to see what it is like to bring up the six. Well done, brotha!
TCLAPS to Stew for posting a 2nd time, both of which happened to be in cold and rainy conditions. Looking forward to seeing you back out soon. RESPECT
