Preamble:
A great day for another Seles beatdown for all those fartsackers who missed out. The rain ended right at 7 am as we gathered in the gloom (except for Sleeper who rolled in at his usual late arrival time). It got cooler as the workout proceeded and ended in the low 50s with a light breeze; couldn’t ask for better workout conditions! There was a lot of mumble chatter from our two hens (Sleeper and Madoff) especially with regard to “what she said”.
Warm-O-Rama:
16 Side Straddle Hops, 16 Mary Katherines, 10 Squawkers, 10 Baryshnikovs (ea. leg) 16 Sumo Squats i.c. Rinse & Repeat
The Thang:
Mosey to Apostolic Church for a 4 Corners Pyramid: 1st corner, 10 merkins, 2nd corner, 10 merkins and 20 Squats; 3rd corner, 10 merkins, 20 Squats and 30 Imperial Walkers (single count); 4th corner, 10 merkins, 20 Squats, 30 Imperial Walkers and 40 LBCs. Work backwards to corner 3, 2 and 1 repeating the exercises at each one. oyo
Mosey back to Austin school by going down the hill and through the back pathway.
11’s at the picnic area: Step-ups and Dips. oyo
Mosey out back of school to Nature Center deck for a Mary tabata: 8 sets of box-cutters, 20 sec on and 10 sec off
Mosey to lower base of Nature Center Hill for Pyramid: 2,4, 6, 8, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 hand-release merkins; alternate with 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 arm circles. oyo
Mosey to upper base of hill for Prisoner Squat tabata: 8 reps, 20 sec on, 10 sec off
Warrior lunge tabata up the hill: 8 reps, 20 sec on, 10 sec off
Mosey back to start for 10 Burpees oyo
