You never know who will wander in from the gloom. This morning we had a Kotter when Top Hat showed back up for the Hoppy Like run. With regulars Devito, TO and C4 rounding out the group with YHC we took off west from Mugs for our 22 1/2 minute out then turn around to return.
Conditions were typical Alpharetta July morning: 70 with humidity hanging in the air. C4 led the way with a sub 8:30 pace. Devito and YHC were in the second group and TO and Top Hat made up group 3. This route takes us down then back up what we now call Peanut hill where Peanut as Q of a brutal Rubicon workout had us bear crawling up the hill just past Wills Road.
We all returned to Mugs after 45 minutes cardio bliss, dripping wet but alive and ready to start out Friday.
