The recent relocation of our friend and comrade, Grits, has left us without his occasional post, but his Pavilion-centered Q approach provided inspiration for 6 HIM’s during this morning’s rain-soaked beat down. Here’s how it went…
Warm up:
SSH
Cotton Pickers
Copperhead Squats
The Thang:
Mosey to “The Superdome”- the extremely large covered pavilion (Grits could have led a 3-hour beat down in this one) for some fun and games.
1st exercise- Merkin ladder starting at 20, sprinting the length of the pavilion, then 19, etc. all the way down to 1. (210 total- thanks Hammer)
Next- Dan Taylors, 1:4 ratio with squats and lunges all the way to 10:40. Darth got lost and wandered off at some point but found his way back, fully up to speed on the bulletin board posts, thankfully.
40’s with Dips and step ups, 3 sets, 30/10, 20/20, and 10/30
Extended 6 MOM:
LBC’s, J-Lo’s, Reverse LBC’s, Crunchy frogs, American Hammers, Dying Cockroach’s, Box cutters
COT:
-Prayers for work, job opportunities, safe travels
-Praise for blessed Thanksgiving holiday for all, including F3 Football game. Feedback from BC crew was that score wasn’t as close as Crack’s BB made it sound, but who’s counting.
-Hammer V-Q on Thursday! Don’t miss it!
-Good luck to the Body’s wife (coach) and Checkmate’s daughter (player) as they square up on the b-ball court this afternoon!
– Thanks to Darth for leading the Q- School training last week. The Q responsibility of posting a Same day Back Blast is apparently covered in the next class!
