It was a beautiful Fall morning…feeling thankful for Veterans Day, my birthday, the autumn beauty that surrounds us, and SO much more.
Warm-O-Rama:
Head to the upper lot for some SSH, WeedPickers, Hillbillies, ArmCircles & Covids. It’s my belated Birthday Q, Let’s Go!
The Thang:
Felt the need to pay homage to the music of the late 70’s…no, I didn’t turn 70 but was born in the late 1970s. So DJ Walkie Talkie had prepared a sweet setlist for such an occasion. Here goes it..
Crocodile Rock – Group lunges & Burpess on “Crocodile Rock” & “LaLaLaLaLaLa”
Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough – Merkins (until you get enough) & Run in two group (rotating lap & sprint)
We Are the Champions – Curls then run (an homage to the Braves within the homage to the 70s)
Who’ll Stop the Rain – Jump Rope then run (stretch, Dr. Rico, stretch)
My Sharona – Group squats & Burpees on “Sharona”; SSH during guitar riff
Sweet Home Alabama – Group lunges on “SHA”; plank during guitar riff and merkins on “Alabama”
Staying Alive – Skull crushers & run
Ain’t No Mountain High Enough – LBCs & run
Rock with You – Overhead Press (yes, MJ made the cut twice; be glad I wasn’t born in 80s)
Roxanne- Group SSH & Burpees in 2 Teams; Yes, Team “Roxanne” has 1 more than Team “Red Light” (it took some convincing but she eventually got the message)
Time!
COT:
Proud and honored to share a birthday with Veterans Day…and always proud and honored to lead this awesome group of men. Semper Fi.
Sounds like Stu & Zohan are raising the bar on Shuffle so get out there.
