Crashtastic 11s

Warm-O-Rama:

Up the hill and past the parking lot to circle up for SSH, hillbillies, weed pickers.

The Thang:

Moseyed to the small track as these days we’re having to think through “scooter friendly” workouts.  11s was the name of the game for the day.  Step ups on one side, incline merkins on the other.  Catfish went down hard in turn 3 on the mud, but recovered with all the grace of Bruce Lee as if nothing ever happened.  Finished up and moseyed back to the main pavilion.  11s again.  Dying cockroach at the far pavilion, copperhead squats at the main pavilion.  As we’re running to the far pavilion, we hear a scooter go down hard.  Turning back with the only headlight in the group, we see Ha-Ha also using some Bruce Lee juju to hop off the careening scooter while not trying to reinjure his foot.  Might not have been successful on that last part, but it was an impressive save.  Seeing as how we were 2-2 on crashes on the day, we didn’t want to risk it on crash number 3…

Right as we finished, it was 6:14, which left one minute to get back to the flag.  Almost as if it was planned that way.
